wow...it has been crazy!!

First off, let me start with that I have been sooo exhausted that the blog has been the last thing on my mind...sorry for my 3 followers ;) !!

Where to begin...well on August 19 at 1pm we entered our new school!  Within an hour I had almost all of my stuff moved into my room along with 61 boxes that I boxed at the end of the school year!! You really can't see, but in the picture the boxes are lined up & stacked!!  Anyway...within 3 days I was ready to have kiddos after working in my room from about 7am to 9pm each day!!  Talk about being tired! Whew!


Then Monday morning came, I boy did I have the first day jitters!  I was pretty proud of myself that I wasn't too nervous leading up to the first day of school but once that first day came...I was super antsy!  But overall, I have a great group of kiddos!!  They keep me busy and on my toes...and if you haven't heard from me in awhile it is because I basically come home around 7ish and crash!!  Hopefully I will get back in the swing of things and become sociable again!  Oh and when I did try and come home early...I got a HUGE screw in my tire!  Not a way to start an evening off early!!

So I have decided to start a blog...

Front of school!

I don't really know what made me do this.  Possibly a combo of reading Julie and Julia or maybe going to MI and emailing my adventures, but either way I thought " hey I am gonna write a blog about my 2nd year of teaching"!!  I figured new year, new school, new team mates...it will be interesting and plus I don't want to forget all the memories!  I really should have started with my first year but hey better late than never!!

OH and for those of you lucky people who end up reading this thing...NO I am not going to worry about my grammar, NO I am not going to spell check, and anything else that is going to take too much time and effort!! LOL...  OH and I like to ... a lot!

SO where to begin??  Well, Monday, August 16 we start back!  It is teacher work week and we are going to be at Jane Long (jr. high campus) for our trainings! Yep, thats right...Kemp is still not 100% ready but it is getting there!!  Hopefully if all goes as planned we will be allowed in our new building at 1pm on Thursday August 19!  Whoo Hooo I am soo excited!  Kids will start back on August 23 so that gives us three whole days to get ready!  Think I can do it ?? OF course I can!  In fact two of my besties...Celia and Brooke...are coming up for the day on Saturday to help me unpack!  I am just soo thankful and grateful!  <3 them!
